How in Works...
( 1 ) Induction cook-tops have inductor coils under the ceramic surface, when a pan is set on an induction range an electric current passes through the coil creating a pulsing magnetic field. ( 2 ) The exclusive T438 Magnetic Surgical Stainless Steel on the outside of the Health Craft pan has a natural resistance to the movement of electrons causing the outside of the pan to heat up, transferring the heat immediately to ( 3 ) the inside of the pan. One quart of water will boil in about 90 seconds.
It’s the Health Craft pan, not the cook-top that heats up and cooks the food. ( 4 ) Nothing outside the pan is affected by the magnetic field. As soon as the pan is removed, the Induction range shuts off, and heat generation ceases immediately, saving energy dollars.
